Project Urban: TBMH – New mental health treatment facility at Birtinya
Project Urban is proud to be working with Thompson Brain and Mind Healthcare (TBMH) on a new mental health treatment facility in the Sunshine Coast Health Precinct at Birtinya.
Thompson Brain and Mind Healthcare is a leading provider of mental health services in Australia. The new facility will offer a range of evidence-based therapies and programs to support individuals and families affected by mental health challenges.
The development will include:
- A purpose-built treatment centre with private therapy rooms
- Group spaces for counselling and education
- Wellness areas designed to promote recovery and resilience
Located within the Sunshine Coast Health Precinct, the facility will complement existing health services and provide a much-needed resource for the community.
TBMH’s mission is to deliver world-class mental health care that is accessible and effective. This new centre will enable TBMH to expand its services and meet growing demand for mental health support in the region.
Project Urban is managing the development approval process and working closely with TBMH to ensure the facility meets all regulatory requirements and community expectations.
Construction is expected to commence in 2024, with completion scheduled for 2025.
